The City of Calvert was proud to announce the official swearing-in of its newest reserve police officers, who took their oath of service on Thursday, July 31, 2025. In a meaningful ceremony held at City Hall, the officers pledged their commitment to protect and serve the citizens of Calvert with integrity, honor, and dedication.
These reserve officers continue to serve alongside the Calvert Police Department, bringing valuable support to daily operations, community outreach, and emergency response efforts. Their addition reflects the city’s ongoing investment in public safety and its mission to build stronger connections between law enforcement and the community.
City Secretary Shanntel Williams and Police Chief Cedric Watson welcomed the officers with open arms, thanking them for their willingness to serve. “This is a proud moment for Calvert,” said Chief Watson. “These individuals have answered the call to serve, and we are confident they will represent our department and our city with professionalism and pride.”
